How Can Trainer Day Help You?

What is trainer day?

Trainer Day is a new service that Boom Fitness started a few months ago in order to make our personal trainers more accessible to a larger audience. Every third Thursday of the month trainers are available throughout the day for a free half hour training session. All members are eligible and non-members are also welcome to join and can get a free guest pass. 

 

What should I expect in a trainer day session? 

The session will include a quick review of your fitness goals and a killer workout that is tailored toward that goal. The trainer can answer any fitness questions you have during that session. If not all your questions or concerns are addressed you may also be eligible for a free one hour Fresh Start session. This will provide an opportunity to go more in depth with your goals and get a longer and more targeted workout.

 

Why would I want to do a trainer day session?

The session could help provide a preview of what it would be like to work with one of our trainers. It also gives you a chance to try out different trainers. If you are not looking to train it can still be a great way to get new workout ideas or get in a quick hard workout!

In summary a personal trainer can put together a program that is unique to you and your goals; help you stay motivated and accountable; and provide a watchful eye to help with technique, education, and injury prevention and rehabilitation.

 

Do I have to buy training at the end?

No we are here to help in any way we can. If you enjoy your session and are interested in working with one of our trainers we are more than happy to provide you with options. If training is not the right fit for you we would love to help find a different service that would be a better fit. We have anything from classic group classes (Zumba, yoga etc.) to more specialized classes like HIIT, CrossFit, and Weight Lifting. There’s a fit for everyone!

 

How do I schedule a session?

Every month a list of available time slots will be sent out via e-mail to all members; there will also be a sign up sheet at the front desk that you can fill out. If you do not find the sign up sheet or a time slot that works for you please talk to any employee in Member services and they can get you set up with a trainer for another day/time.
