My trainer for one. He keeps me accountable and that has kept me motivated.
What do you like to do outside of the gym?
Hiking, hanging out with my kids and wife, reading.
What’s the greatest fitness challenge you’ve faced so far?
Pushing myself beyond my perceived limits.
What’s your biggest fitness accomplishment since you started training?
Getting my body fat percentages down by almost 4% in 8 weeks time.
What’s your favorite movement or exercise?
Calf raises, actually I hate them but in pain, there is gain so I am learning to love them.
What music do you like to train to?
The silent beating of my heart as it cries out for a rest day
What advice would you give to new gym-goers or yourself?
Be clear on your goals and have someone that you can be accountable to.
What advice would you give yourself when you first started?
It will hurt, but it will be worth it in the end.
What do you think of your personal trainer here at Boom?
I love my personal trainer. He is very systematic about how the workouts are structured. He tracks my progress with every session to help me improve but also see how far I have come. He is also very easy going and really great at keeping me motivated.
