What are your goals? Health and fitness; being the best me I can be mentally, physically and spiritually
What’s kept you motivated? Grow older and staying away from the Dr.’s Office. I’ve made it a challenge of mine
What do you like to do outside of the gym? Spend time with my children and grandchildren. Traveling, Hiking, Crafting, Gardening, Cooking, Decorating.
What’s the greatest fitness challenge you’ve faced so far? Finding a workout program I like. Overcoming frozen shoulder on both arms.
What’s your biggest fitness accomplishment since you started training? Lifting weights and increased shoulder mobility and loving CrossFit.
What’s your favorite movement or exercise? Clean and Jerk
What music do you like to train? Music with a heavy beat.
What advice would you give to new gym-goers or yourself? Prioritize your health and wellbeing. Show up and be consistent. Trust your trainer and coach.
What advice would you give yourself when you first started? I told myself I could do this. Just show up and do what the coach tells me to do (Having faith in my trainers).
What do you think of your personal trainer here at Boom? Alisha has been a life-changer for me. She works me hard and believes in me. I find her so inspiring and admire her commitment to her sport. She is truly dedicated and I’m so grateful to have her as my trainer.
